Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate is delighted to see the goals now flowing for Turkey striker Tuncay Sanli.
Both produced a thrilling exhibition of front-running against the Gunners as Boro finally ended a winless run that stretched back more than three months.
But Tuncay also added a well-taken goal into the mix and manager Southgate believes the club's fans may have found their latest idol.
"All supporters want a hero," he said. "He's now got the evidence that he can score in this division. He's now got the evidence that he can score against the best in this division as well."
Southgate was delighted with the performance of his front two, who spearheaded the high-intensity game that succeeded in unsettling their opponents.
"Those old-fashioned attributes of hard work, being prepared to run at teams and close teams down - the pair of them were phenomenal, the work rate they got through," Southgate said.
