Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate is expecting more goals from Tuncay Sanli this season.

Southgate said: "I was pleased for Tuncay to get off the mark against Stoke. He's started the season well and he's been getting into good positions.

"That bit of skill he showed at Anfield was extra special and it's the sign of a special player.

"It was a fabulous finish against Stoke, too, and he deserved it for his perseverance.

"But I think Tuncay can score more goals than he does. There are a lot more goals to come from him and if everything goes well, I expect him to score more than his fair share for us this season."
