Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate will be aiming to make only small changes to his squad in the summer.
Southgate will be given a summer war chest by chairman Steve Gibson in the region of £20 million when the transfer window opens.
Fulham's Jimmy Bullard and Derby's Giles Barnes have emerged as targets while he is expected to move for another forward, although he added: "We will have a new signing in Mido being fit really. He is not forgotten as far as we are concerned."
