Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate admits he's grateful for the international week.
Southgate's men do not play again until October 20, when they host Avram Grant's resurgent Chelsea side at the Riverside Stadium knowing they need to get their season back on track as soon as possible.
And with a trip to Manchester United to follow a week later, the manager knows the next fortnight will be crucial.
He said: "The last international break came at the worst possible time for us - this one is coming at the best time.
"It gives us time to get on the training ground. I am pretty certain they will all be fit for Chelsea.
"We will hopefully have competition for places in the striking positions for the next game.
"I have to pick a team that wins us the game against Chelsea now."
