Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate was delighted with fullback Jonathan Grounds' debut in their 1-1 draw with Liverpool.

He said: "Then we had to hand a debut to Jonathan Grounds. I didn't have any worries about him but he did really well for us. It was a big step up for him but he took it in his stride."
