Middlesbrough boss prepared for Wolves to recall Hammill

Wolves may look to ease their injury problems by recalling Adam Hammill from a loan spell at ChampionshipMiddlesbrough once he has completed an initial 28-day stint. Boro boss Tony Mowbray told the Evening Gazette on a player who has agreed to see out the season at the Riverside Stadium: "I think the situation is what it is.

"If Wolves want to take him back he is their player and there's not a lot we can do about it.

"If Wolves think he can impact on their season and help them stay in the Premier League, then that's their prerogative.

"He's their player. Obviously it would benefit us more if he stayed. But if they take him back, they take him back and we'll get on with it."
