Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka was delighted with their 6-0 friendly win over York City.
David Nugent and Jordan Rhodes (2) were among the scorers as Boro romped to a 6-0 victory, with the Head Coach choosing to field a different 11 in each half of the game.
There were also strikes from Albert Adomah and Adam Reach, and an own goal completed the collection as Boro eased to victory.
“The games in pre-season are more or less like training," Karanka told Boro's website. “The score for this game me isn't important.
“But for a striker it's always important to score, in a pre-season game or in a final. They go home today more than happy."
