Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka admits he needs to offload two of his goalkeepers.
Brad Guzan's arrival from Aston Villa, coupled with the signing of Victor Valdes, means the Boro boss has four goalkeepers at his disposal, along with last season's No. 1 Dimi Konstantopoulos and Tomas Mejias already at the Riverside Stadium.
And Karanka has admitted admits he does not intend to go into the new season with four goalkeepers.
"I don't think we'll have four (goalkeepers)," Karanka told the Evening Gazette. “The keeper is a different position but I don't want to stay with four.
“I don't think it's good for me and for us, and I don't think it's good for the keepers. A team doesn't need four keepers."
