Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka is keen on free agent Victor Valdes.
Karanka has identified former Manchester United outcast Valdes as a potential signing, says the Daily Star.
Valdes, 34, is a free agent after being released from Old Trafford and has indicated that he would like to remain in the Premier League.
His agent, Gines Carvajal, told Sport: "The Premier League is very attractive and Valdes want to stay because he has adapted perfectly to England."
