Middlesbrough are eyeing Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo.
El Mundo Deportivo says Boro boss Aitor Karanka has spoken to Negredo about a switch to the Riverside and the north east club have now begun talks with Valencia.
He feels he has unfinished business in the Premier League after he was shipped off on loan to Valencia from Manchester City in 2014
The striker signed permanently for the La Liga club a year later.
