Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka denies he's trying to talk his way out of the job.
The Spaniard slagged off the club's supporters after a home defeat to West Ham and then slammed his board over a lack of January signings on Teesside.
But he said: “I could say goodbye and go. I don't need the money.
“I'm here because I want to be here and the day I'm not pleased, I will leave — don't worry.
“Sometimes my frustration comes when I'm trying to do my best. I want the people who are on board to do the same."
Middlesbrough travel to Tottenham on Saturday and will be keen to avoid defeat as they look to move up the table.
