Championship club Middlesbrough have been dealt a blow with news that Mustapha Carayol is set to be sidelined for around four months.
The 23-year old Gambian winger has been impressive in his few starts for Boro since joining from Bristol Rovers in the summer but will now be unavailable until at least late January.
Carayol, who has previously played with MK Dons, Crawley Town, Torquay United and Lincoln City, joins Rhys Williams and Curtis Main on the long-term Riverside Stadium injury list.
