Premiership clubs are keeping tabs on Zoltan Gera's situation at West Brom.
The Hungary international is off contract in the summer and is baulking at penning a new deal.
Middlesbrough, Fulham and Birmingham City have been following Gera for the last 12 months and the midfielder said: "I am not satisfied with my present situation - mainly because this season I was very confident of being involved and was pleased with my form.
"I am not happy at all if I have a good contract and earn a lot of money, but find myself sitting on the bench week after week. I would rather not sign a contract on that basis.
"I know there are no guaranteed positions in the starting team, but my only conclusion at the moment is that I am not in the manager's plans as an important player and while that happens it would be a mistake to sign a contract and commit my future to the club.
"I love Albion, the players, the fans, but based on what is happening I won't hurry to sign a contract. I would like to establish how important I am."
