Middlesbrough bid falls short for PSG's Digard

Middlesbrough must up their bid for PSG midfielder Didier Digard to £4.5 million.

The Daily Mail says the 21-year-old midfielder has spent the week at Middlesbrough's training ground and has agreed terms to move to England.

However Middlesbrough's offer of around £3.8 million has not matched PSG's valuation of the player.

Newcastle and Portsmouth remain keen on the France Under-21 international but Middlesbrough are the only club to have matched his personal demands.
