Middlesbrough admit to failing to control their players

Middlesbrough have admitted a charge of failing to control their players during the match against West Brom in January. The charge relates to the conduct of Boro's players towards referee Mark Halsey following Didier Digard's sending-off during Albion's 3-0 victory at The Hawthorns.

A statement on the Football Association's website, thefa.com, read: "Middlesbrough have today admitted a charge of failing to control their players.

"Middlesbrough have requested a personal hearing, which will be scheduled in due course."
