Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen has distanced himself from reports linking him with a takeover bid of Blackburn Rovers.
Allen - who has also been linked with an interest in Championship club Southampton - was rumoured to be the man behind the Blackburn approach, but his spokesman Michael Nank has ruled out an interest in the Lancashire side.
"Mr Allen is not interested nor involved in any kind of takeover offer for Blackburn Rovers or any other English football club," said Nank.
