Seattle Sounders owner Paul Allen has cooled talk of buying Aston Villa.
The Microsoft co-founder insists he has no plans to buy Aston Villa.
Allen said in a statement: "Recent speculation linking me to Aston Villa FC are unfounded.
"I have not indicated interest nor had any discussions pertaining to the purchase of Aston Villa or any other club."
