Michy Batshuayi proud of role in Chelsea winning run

Michy Batshuayi was delighted with his part in Chelsea's win at Crystal Palace.

Batshuayi replaced Diego Costa in the second half at Selhurst, and is set to start their Boxing Day fixture at home to Bournemouth after the Spanish striker collected his five booking of the campaign, resulting in a one-match suspension.

In a tweet posted on Saturday evening, the Batshuayi said: “Proud to be a (small) part of the club record, and being top of the league tonight incredible achievement from the team and staff."

The Belgian has scored three goals in 12 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions since arriving from Marseille in the summer for £33million, starting just two games in all competitions since the win over Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup in late August.
