Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has explained his decision to move to Borussia Dortmund in January.
The Belgian is on-loan in Dortmund to the end of the season.
Batshuayi told Onze Mundial: "Why BVB? I needed game time to find myself. There were a lot of possibilities. With Dortmund, it was done very quickly. I had a game with Chelsea the next day, I had a double in the previous match, everyone was counting on me. And suddenly, while I was walking in the city, I found myself on the plane.
"On the one hand, I was happy to leave because I knew that I was going to benefit from more playing time. On the other, I had just made very good performances with Chelsea and the club was rather favorable to me staying.
"I have always wanted to play in Dortmund. Besides, I had already told reporters. If they are strong, they only have to find an article I made at Standard (Liege). I was asked, 'Which club do you want to play for during your career?'. I replied: 'Marseille and Dortmund"'. And now, I'm happy because I played for both clubs. Two major institutions, in their respective countries and on the international scene."
