Swansea City are set to be buoyed by the return of star forward Michu.
The Spaniard, who scored 18 goals last season, has been sidelined since December 15 after undergoing surgery on his troublesome ankle.
Michu has been stepping up his recovery in the past few weeks and has been getting closer and closer to a Swans return which could occur at the Liberty Stadium against West Bromwich Albion this Saturday according to manager Garry Monk.
"He's trained well this week," Monk said.
"We've been assessing him every day and we tailor the training it to him. He has taken part in most of the sessions this week.
"He's been great and looked sharp on Thursday and we'll make a judgement on him on Friday."
