Real Madrid legend Michel is delighted seeing Jese Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata now getting a first team chance.
Michel, now coach of Olympiakos, brought the pair through while in charge of Real's youth team.
"Morata was a personal choice of mine. I saw him at a tournament with Getafe. I thought he looked promising and enquired about him. We spoke to his father and he was more concerned about how the youngsters were trained, who was going to educate his son and the conditions the team would be playing in. I was surprised, because that's not usually the way," Michel told Marca.< p>
"Jesé was more down to scouting. We had a scout from the Canary Islands, Sixto Alfonso, who told us about him. He was then seen by Palmero and Enrique Magdaleno, who was the specialist. Ramis and I finally decided."
