Michael Essien has revealed that he is training with the Chelsea reserves in a bid to find a new club.
Essien was released by Panathinaikos last summer by mutual agreement and following his departure from Greece, the ex-Ghanaian international has struggled to find a new home.
In order to get his fitness levels up, Essien is training with former club Chelsea at the moment and the 34-year-old has now revealed that he hopes to land at a new team where he will feel 'comfortable' following his spell with the Blues.
Essien said (via Oluwashina Okeleji's Twitter Page): "I train with Chelsea reserves who are always polite and good to me. I hope to find a club where my family and I would feel comfortable."
