Michael Agazzi has left Middlesbrough.
The Mirror says Agazzi has joined Serie B side Cesena from AC Milan on permanent basis.
The Italian stopper spent last season on loan with Middlesborough as backup to Dimitrios Konstantopoulos, but failed to make an appearance as Aitor Karanka's side won promotion.
After a fine spell with Cagliari, Agazzi has bounced around over the last few years and was never able to establish a starting role with the Rossoneri as former Real Madrid 'keeper Diego Lopez held the No. 1 jersey.
