Fabrizio Miccoli insists he's committed to Palermo.

The striker said: "I am ready for the new season.

"I have two years left on my contract, I have had my medical tests and I am ready to get started.

"It's not for me to say whether we need someone to replace Amauri. It is up to the President and the directors to make market decisions.

"I am proud that I am remembered fondly in Portugal, but now I want to repay my President here because he deserves it."
