Miami Ultras pushing for MLS inception

An organisation in Florida is pushing hard to become MLS' 20th franchise.

The Miami Ultras want to be given the next licence to join the North American top flight once Vancouver, Portland and Montreal have gained access and the organisers are fighting hard for the cause.

It is believed that many players, fans and celebrities are getting behind a team in Miami, which have not seen a team in MLS since 2001 when the Fusion disbanded.

CONCACAF General Secretary Chuck Glazer said it would be great to have a new team in Florida.

"Good Luck, I would love to see a team back in South Florida," he said.
