Siena are closer to changing hands.
Roman businessman Massimo Mezzaroma is in advanced talks with Giovanni Lombardi Stronati about a takeover.
Mezzaroma will buy Siena for £9 million and also assumed the club's debts.
If he can complete the takeover this week, Mezzaroma will make money available for the January market.
