David Meyler hopes Hull City can continue their positive run this weekend.
A draw with Manchester City and back-to-back victories against Aston Villa and QPR have boosted City up into a healthy 15th position in the Premier League.
"We showed good character and that is what it is all about," he told the club's official site.
"It was a very tough game for us after QPR went down to ten men because at 1-1, they sat in and tried to limit our chances.
"We tried to get the ball into their box as much as we could but I think it almost got to the point where we thought it wasn't going to be our day.
"You feel a bit for Rob Green after the tremendous save he made a few seconds earlier, but Robbie Brady has put in a tremendous cross and luckily Dame N'Doye was on the receiving end. We're all delighted for him.
"We've got Stoke next and we're all focused on that now. We need to keep building. We've got seven points from our last three games, let's try and make it ten from four now."
