The Mexican national team will undertake a tour of the USA in February 2011.

The Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM) announced the tour which will take El Tri to the southeast of the States for a match against Bosnia-Herzegovina on February 9 at Atlanta's Georgia Dome.

FMF general secretary Decio de Maria said the tour would be great for Mexico who are entering a new era under a new manager.

"What better way to start this new cycle of the Mexican national team, under the direction of Jose Manuel de la Torre in front of great fans in Atlanta," said de Maria.

"I'm sure the fans will enjoy this important event, because it means the beginning of our preparation for the 2011 sports competitions, such as Copa America, Gold Cup and the start of the World Cup qualifiers, in Brazil 2014."
