Brazil came from behind to defeat Mexico 2-1 in a friendly in the northern Mexican city of Torreon on Tuesday evening. Ronaldinho and Marcelo were on target for the visitor's after Mexico had taken a 10th-minute lead courtesy of a David Luiz own goal, before Dani Alves was shown a second yellow card after conceding a penalty shortly before the interval.
It was Mexico's first defeat under Jose Manuel de la Torre, who had previously overseen 10 wins and four draws since taking over in October last year.
The game also marked Mexico keeper Oswaldo Sanchez's 100th and last appearance for the national team.
"I have to enjoy my time," he said. "I still feel completely able to play. I'm 38 years old, and I'm the kind of person who thinks there aren't any old or young players, simply good or bad ones. I believe I'm very good, said modestly, because I'm professional."
What memories does he have of his career?
"Too many, but two stand out: my debut in the USA Cup with Bora Milutinovic as manager, and my debut in the (2006) World Cup, a moment I cherish," Sanchez said. "I'd say those two because of their importance."
