Mexican superkid Ulises Davila admits he was spotted first by Chelsea at the Toulon tournament last summer.
Davila was snapped up by Chelsea from Chivas before being loaned to Vitesse Arnhem.
"Toulon started it all, fortunately I did very well over there and the talks began," Davila told Univision.com. "I was not told anything so I could concentrate on the World Cup.
"Chelsea were able to do everything quickly, I was just missing a medical examination, but it was all done."
"I was in Colombia when my agent Matthias Bunge told me (about Chelsea), then my parents came to Colombia and they also told me. It was something that surprised me very much, but obviously I was very happy."
