Mexican league and MLS can wait for Tottenham's dos Santos

Giovani dos Santos is not prepared to settle on the Mexican Primera Division or Major League Soccer just yet.

The 22-year old Tottenham attacker has not quite sorted out his club future with it possible he could leave Spurs this summer prompting rumours of a return to his homeland or a foray into North America's top flight.

Fresh from scoring in Mexico's 2-0 win over Brazil in Texas on the weekend, dos Santos put that speculation to bed by saying he will remain in Europe.

"I've said that it's not one of my priorities to come to MLS or go to the Mexican league," dos Santos told reporter.

"I want to continue in Europe. [MLS] has grown a lot, but at the moment, it's not something that I have interest in."
