Santos Laguna have not pursued their interest in former USA national team coach Bob Bradley to become their new boss.
The Mexican club were believed to be in talks with Bradley to replace the recently-fired Diego Cocca but recent reports suggest that Santos have turned to Mexican coaching veteran Benjamin Galindo.
mediotiempo.com indicates that Galindo, a former Santos midfielder, will return to the Torreon-based club following his short stint there as coach in 2006.
Club president Alejandro Irarragorri told reporters earlier in the week that Bradley was a definite option but the American tactician will have to wait to become the first from his country to coach a Mexican club.
