Roma defender Philippe Mexes missed their win over Catania after he was the victim of a burglary.

Mexes had a fright when a group of burglars broke into his house in Rome and made off with a large number of valuables.

Because of the traumatic evening, Coach Claudio Ranieri has opted to leave Mexes at home for today's game with Catania.
