Philippe Mexes says he's happy at AC Milan.

The defender was linked with a move away in the summer.

"I heard a lot of false things said about me but the important factor is that I am still here," he told Sky Sport Italia. "I never thought about going elsewhere.

"I want to show the fans just how attached I am to this shirt and I have always worked hard to get back into action as soon as possible."
