Former Manchester United No2 Rene Meulensteen says they shouldn't be pursuing Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
United have been linked with a massive £120m bid for Bale in recent weeks, although there is some suggestion that the fee could be less if goalkeeper David De Gea headed in the other direction in part-exchange.
Meulensteen told talkSPORT: "I'm not sure Gareth Bale wants to leave Real Madrid yet.
"You can see it in his performances.
"It was a dream move for him to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and other world class players.
"He's very happy where he is and it would be very difficult to tempt him away."
