Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen says there's plenty of work behind-the-scenes in the transfer market.

Meulensteen says he is stepping up his search to bolster his squad for the second half of the season.

"Behind the scenes people are working hard seeing what's out there and what's available," said the Dutchman.

"There's not a number on it. We've got to make sure the people we do bring in are right to help us secure our Premier League status and beyond that."
