Rene Meulensteen has reaffirmed reports he won't be returning to Manchester United as part of Louis van Gaal's backroom team.
Meulensteen left United last summer following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.
"No, no, no, no that's not going to happen," Meulensteen told Sky Sports. "I do know him (van Gaal). I have not spoken to him but I do know that he is going to add one of his own people to his staff in that respect.
"There is no Rene Meulensteen going back to United."
