The future of Rene Meulensteen is in doubt at Manchester United.

The Sun says there are doubts over whether first team coach Meulensteen will carry on, as his role would be watered down by David Moyes' hands-on approach to training.

Under Fergie, Meulensteen - highly rated by United players - put on most of the sessions.

Yet with Moyes preferring a closer day-to-day involvement, the Dutchman is likely to be marginalised.
