Former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen believes the club should go after Borussia Dortmund star Ilkay Gundogan.
Meulensteen, who worked so closely with Sir Alex Ferguson, was asked in a Twitter Q&A who he thinks the Old Trafford club should try to sign in regards to a central midfielder.
The Dutchman indicated that he is a big fan of 23-year old Germany international Gundogan who is emerging as a quality playmaker for Dortmund.
