Rene Meulensteen has denied that he is no longer Manchester United's first-team coach.
Reports suggested that the Dutchman had either left or been sacked by incoming manager David Moyes but he insists he will report to the club for preseason training in July as normal.
"So far I will report on July 1. I am still under contract at the club," he told ELF Voetbal.
"I didn't step down, and also I was not sacked by Manchester United. I am still employed."
Meulensteen had also been linked with the Wigan Athletic job as Roberto Martinez gets set to replace Moyes at Everton.
