Florent Malouda has hit out at the management of Chelsea.
Now with Metz, Malouda has spoken about how he was frozen out by Chelsea in his last year in west London, claiming the directors of the club were responsible for his lack of first-team appearances.
"There were these nonsense stories in the media. I was supposed to be asking for too much money. The directors did all they could to discredit me. I was sent to the academy as an example to show that a player shouldn't decide his future.
"I have no anger towards the coaches. The decision came from above them."
