FC Metalist owner Sergi Kurchenk has declared Taison will not be moving to Chelsea.

Chelsea had agreed terms with Metalist for Taison, only for the club to change hands to Kurchenk.

He confirmed: "Given the desire of (Shakhtar president) Mr. Akhmetov to see this player in their shirt, I do not exclude that in the near future, we will receive another offer and we will have to say goodbye to this great striker.

"If that happens, I am ready to make the amount received from the transfer bigger, raising it to £30m, and for this money to buy two or three players to make the team stronger."
