Mesut Ozil is cutting short his summer break to return to Arsenal training early.

He has made the decision to return to Arsenal early after his team-mates told him all about Unai Emery's impressive training sessions.

The Germany midfielder went on holiday immediately after the World Cup to clear his head, amid calls from his father to retire from international football.

Ozil has remained in contact with his Arsenal team-mates, who he spoke to about the new regime at the club, says Goal.

And apparently the German was so impressed by what he heard he decided to cut his holiday short and head back to London to join the group.
