It emerged on Sunday morning that Barca have secured an agreement over personal terms with Griezmann - with the Frenchman to become their 'first signing for season 2018/19'.
However, Don Balon says Messi is unsure about Griezmann's value and feels there's better available prospects.
Juventus striker Paulo Dybala is one player Messi has suggested to directors, despite the decision to pull back last summer from talks. It was suggested Dybala and Messi were too similar to play in the same team.
But it's claimed the Barca superstar has had a rethink and regards his fellow Argentine ahead of Griezmann. Messi now has a formal say on Barca's transfer policy as part of the new contract penned earlier this season.
