Barcelona players lost their cool after their Copa del Rey elimination at Sevilla this week. Sport says the screams of anger could be heard from the away dressing room, with some players kicking the dressing room wall and the drinks counter being tipped over.

Lionel Messi was in tears at the final whistle and could not be comforted by teammates. Eventually, it took coach Pep Guardiola to calm the Argentine down, telling his star man that despite the chances he missed on the night, it was not his fault they were out of the competition.

Indeed, Guardiola told Messi it was he who was to blame and not the Argie.

Despite the huge outpouring of emotion, Guardiola left the stadium delighted as he knew his players still had the desire to continue winning after last year's clean sweep.
