Lionel Messi was delighted with his goalscoring return for Barcelona last night.
Messi started his first game in two months after recovering from a knee injury and struck twice in the 6-1 rout of Champions League opponents Roma.
The Argentine said at the final whistle: "I feel very good, returning to the team gradually. It is normal that after such a long injury I now have to re-gain confidence, working well physically and picking up the pace of games.
"I'm happy to have been able to play these ninety minutes against Roma."
Messi continued: "Every game we try to do things well, we know we have a responsibility. We like to win, play well and try to have fun.
"I enjoyed watching the team from outside, but I also like to enjoy playing from within."
