Lionel Messi has handed Barcelona an injury scare.
The Argentine star could not train with the Argentina squad yesterday in Geneva, where over 1,500 fans had turned up to see him.
Messi is carrying a thigh strain and Argentine medical staff insist it is nothing serious.
There was talk that Barca had demanded he return to Spain, but this was denied last night. Messi is still with Argentina's squad as they prepare for their friendly with Portugal.
