Lionel Messi has hailed the change coach Pep Guardiola has brought to Barcelona.

Asked about the prospect of Diego Maradona replacing Alfio Basile as Argentina coach, Messi said: "It will be difficult to see a change with Argentina in the way that has happened at Barcelona.

"In Barcelona, the coach changed the mentality of the team, and the new people who came brought a lot of enthusiasm. It is very difficult to see something similar with the Albiceleste."
