Mertesacker not perturbed by Arsenal's Wolves draw

Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker is aware that yesterday's 1-1 draw with Wolves was a missed opportunity for the North Londoners.

The Gunners were frustrated into a point by a gutsy Wolves outfit, led by goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, and although it was a wasted chance to move up the table, Mertesacker is not too concerned by the minor setback.

"We had a big chance to go into fourth place, but we didn't do that. It was our fault - we had a lot of chances but we didn't score," said the German.

"There are some days in the life of goalkeepers where something happens like that. He was in great form and it was his day.

"Yes, we had a big chance today, but there are other big chances to come. We are ready to go into the top four and are confident."
