Per Mertesacker is supremely confident that Arsenal will finish in the top four on the Premier League table this season.
The Gunners produced a superb performance to down Monaco 2-0 in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg on Tuesday night, and despite bowing out of the competition on away goals, the triumph will give them impetus for the remainder of their domestic campaign.
"We feel positive and confident. You could see that today, how confident we were. We won nearly every duel, especially defensively, and showed a different face," said Mertesacker.
"I mean how many chances did they have today? It changed completely from the first leg (when Arsenal lost 3-1 at home).
"Let's go on like that, and we have a great chance to qualify again for the Champions League and try it one more time."
